Behind the Guest House Ingleborough rises majestically 2,373 feet and along with Whernside and Pen-Y-ghent forms “The three Peaks”. A must for keen walkers. Within five miles you can explore White Scar and Ingleborough Caves or visit Ingleton Waterfalls Walk. Why not enjoy a trip on the historic Settle-Carlisle railway, which is easily accesible from a number of stations within a 10 minute drive. Settle, an old market town, is just six miles away and offers many attractions for the visiting tourist. The historic city of Lancaster is fifteen miles away and the old market town of Kirkby Lonsdale, nine miles. Kendal gateway to the Lakes is twenty six miles west and Skipton gateway to the Dales twenty five miles east.
